I joined Hospital Radio Exeter earlier this year (2010) when my family and I came to settle in Devon after I retired after 35 years spent overseas in various countries with the British Council. I had had some experience of radio presenting way back in the mid-70s with the Qatar Broadcasting Service in the Arabian Gulf and was keen to have another go once I had the time.

HRE has given me a fantastic opportunity to get back in the studio and contribute something helpful (I hope!) to patients at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital. It's a great team here and I'm having a ball! I present Pop-Back every Wednesday evening from 6 to 7pm - a nostalgic return to the music charts, and the life and times, of the 50s and 60s.

I also present the request show alternately with Rob Turner on Monday evenings between 8 and 9pm. I'd love it if you could join me.
