In Times Gone By

This music is generational.  It is Popular Music and has a wide variety of genres.

This music was enjoyed by a large section of the population because it had lyrics that are easily remembered and tell a story, mostly of love and heartbreak, misunderstanding and joy.

Spend an hour with music that will uplift you, make you smile and take you back to wonderful memories.

Join Julian at 6pm on Wednesday nights to listen to those songs that you were singing along with In Times Gone By.

Sunny Side Of The Street

Ken has been volunteering with hospital radio since the mid-1970s.

He enjoys sharing a wide variety of music from among his favourites, from the classical music enjoyed by his parents, through the pop of the 1970s during his teenage years, to just about anything with a “good tune”.

Ken invites you to join him On the Sunny Side of the Street for an hour of memories from the Golden Age of the 1930s, 40s and 50s.

Perhaps you will hear an old song which will bring back memories of one that “mum used to sing to me” or introduce an old favourite to a new audience.

The Eclectic Mix

HI there,
Andy Judd here. It’s my privilege to present a programme on Hospital Radio Exeter called The Eclectic mix.
I play some standard classics, acoustic sessions, re-worked songs of the originals , covers, the occasional current track, and also album tracks as well.
All of this crammed into an hour on a Thursday evening. So, that’s The Eclectic mix, here, on Hospital Radio Exeter on Thursday evenings between nine and ten PM.
